Subject: How do you weave togetherness through conflict?
Dear %user.name_f%,
Rather than focusing on how to “resolve” conflicts— how can we begin to shift the focus to moving life forward toward the vision of togetherness?
What makes it possible to increase togetherness right from the start and every step of the way?
What happens when the conflict involves power differences?
These are the questions that inspired this upcoming course with Miki Kashtan, Aurélia Saint-Just, and Alper Süzer.
Over four sessions, these three aim to:
- Demonstrate how conflict facilitators can utilize the many potential moves in a conflict field as ways of weaving togetherness
- Use role plays to deepen the learning process and show how to increase capacity to attend to the conflict and learn from it
- Show how to support people to see each other's perspective as part of humanizing them, before and during any meeting
- Explore what you can do to support questions that bring about connection rather than defensiveness
Weaving Togetherness: Supporting Liberation while Facilitating Conflict Processes starts on Monday, December 18th. Rather than offering basic facilitation techniques, this course focuses on specific aspects of engaging with conflict that are particularly relevant to the journey of liberation.
Listen to Miki and Alper discuss what this powerful trainer trio plans to bring to this course here.
