Restorative Circles: Transforming Conflict, Building Community Resilience

Tuesdays, May 9-June 13, 2023 (Six sessions)

How do you build safe, resilient communities at a time when few individuals – let alone communities – know how to respond to conflict with behaviors without creating further pain and damaging relationships? 

This practice-based course offers an introduction to supporting your families, organizations, and other communities to create spaces for conflict that are safe, constructive, and transformative. 

You will have the chance to explore how Restorative Circles apply in different social contexts and begin to discover how this resource may be applied to your specific community.

The Art of Making Requests: Ask for the Moon

Thursdays, May 11-June 15, 2023 (six sessions) 

In order to go for what you really want, you must be willing to ask for it. 

Do you want to be able to stand firmly for your needs and assertively ask for what you (really) want? Would you like the skills to hear and say 'No' while staying in connection? 

This course is an opportunity to learn how to make requests effortless and guess the requests of others. Over six interactive sessions, you will get to practice first identifying what you really want, then how to go out and ask for it! 

You can look forward to demonstrations, role-playing, and exercises designed for deeper and quicker integration of NVC values and language into your own daily situations.
