Welcome to the Get Started with Nonviolent Communication (NVC) self-paced course! You have taken the first step toward deeper connections with yourself and others, and we are happy to support you along the way. 

Here is what you need to know to get started. 

This course is designed to be completed in 4 weeks or you can take your time and go through the material at the pace that works for you.

For each of the four modules, you can expect:

• A helpful, easy to follow description of learning objectives for that module 
• At least one video or audio clip with a CNVC Certified Trainer to guide your learning process 
• Prompts for journaling so that you can reflect and set intentions for practice 
• Suggestions for how to practice the principles in your relationships– with yourself, your friends, your colleagues, and your family 
• Self-assessments so you can track your goals and progress!

This first module is all about you, your communication, and your intentions in taking this course. By the end, you will better understand what NVC can bring to your life and will be ready to set some goals!
