Responding to Everyday Racism starts TOMORROW - Wednesday, March 6.

In this 4-session course, Itzel Hayward and Kathy Simon will be exploring:

• How racism shows up in day-to-day life 
• Understanding perspectives that differ from our own 
• The role we can play in transforming the oppression of people of color 
• Challenging racism in ways that encourages the other person to reflect 

It is taking place on the next four Wednesdays from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Pacific (California) Time.  

It’s for people who want to learn how to foster connection and understanding as they challenge racist words or ideas. 

Itzel and Kathy will explore ways to navigate racism with confidence, understand what sits behind the comment or action, and replace restrictive speech habits with empathic, honest dialogue.
