How can we address power and privilege in NVC?

How does NVC fit into the current US political campaign?

Why is it awkward to acknowledge that some needs are more important than others?

These are some controversial topics!

And are examples of the kinds of questions that often go unexplored.

But what would it look like for two people well-seasoned in NVC to discuss controversial topics — especially if they themselves are not fully aligned?

That is what Miki Kasthan and Roxy Manning are going to demonstrate for you in two days!

Engaging with Controversial Questions: A Conversation between Roxy Manning and Miki Kashtan (Q&A Fishbowl Fundraiser) takes place this Saturday, September 28th!

You’re invited to join Roxy and Miki as they enter into “loving confrontation” in relation to controversial topics within the NVC community.

Some of the discussion topics are ones that Roxy and Miki will bring themselves, and others we hope will come from your suggestions as a participant!

You might consider asking yourself:

  • What are the places within your study and engagement of NVC that still feel unsettled?
  • What controversial topics would you like to explore and receive support?
  • Where do you have open questions and curiosities?

AND this is more than just a Q&A event— it’s also a fundraiser to help support the sustainability of NVC Academy. We need your help!

The Weingarten Fund is going to match, dollar-for-dollar, contributions received up to $10,000! This will be so helpful for NVC Academy. Please help us to reach this goal!

Contribute anything you can!

We hope to see you on Saturday!
